Peaceful Boarding Retreat for Your Dog at Rippling Water Kennel
Family companion or show dog, we want each of our guests to have a happy, stress-free experience while in our care. The mental and physical health of your dog is of primary importance to us. We designed our boarding facilities with comfort, safety, and security in mind.
All breeds are welcome. From giants to toys, dogs boarding with us enjoy spacious, indoor/outdoor runs set on the bank of a rippling mountain stream. Several large runs are available for families with two or three dogs. We offer day boarding as well as over-night and long-term boarding. We also offer grooming by appointment.
About Rippling Watter Kennel
We have a fenced play area to spend time with the dogs for games or cuddles. Dogs trained for off-leash activity can spend time with us in a wooded half-acre exercise yard. However, for the safety of our guests, we do not allow dogs unfamiliar with each other to access the exercise or play yard at the same time.
We are open year around. During the summer our office is open 7 days a week. The rest of the year the office is open Monday thru Saturday, and closed on Sundays and holidays.
Our boarding facility is licensed, regulated and inspected by the North Carolina Agriculture Department – Veterinarian Division.
1. The Minimum Vaccines Required
You will need to provide a copy of your dog’s vaccination records in advance or at check in. The minimum vaccines required for boarding at Rippling Water are:
Current Rabies (3 yr for adults; 1 yr for 4 to 12 mo.)
DHPP or DAP (3 yr for adults;1 yr for under 12 mo.)
2. Talk to Your Veterinarian
Beyond these core vaccines, we recommend that you discuss with your veterinarian which additional vaccines your dog should have based on your dog's age, health and life-style.
3. Full Payment Required
Full payment by local check, cash, debit or credit card is due on arrival. New clients must provide a credit card when making their reservation. A reservation fee will be charged if the reservation is cancelled less than 7 days in advance.
